Analytic Description

551BKOD-S30V

The 551BKOD-S30V Griptilian model is a drop point CPM-S30V blade, ambidextrous thumb stud openers and an AXIS lock mechanism. The scales are made from Noryl GTX with a reversible pocket clip for completely ambidextrous carry. It combines multiple blade styles, sizes and grip colors.

CPM-S30V Stainless Steel
A premium steel created especially for knives, it is a powder steel creating uniform carbide distribution and clean steel properties. Ιt gives perfect corrosion resistance and excellent edge qualities. This steel is very well balanced. It is one of the best choices for daily tasks.

AXIS Lock
The Benchmade AXIS® Lock has ambidextrous design, operates from a small, hardened steel bar that rides forward and back in a slot machined into both steel liners. The bar extends to both sides of the knife, spans the liners and is positioned over the rear of the blade. Two omega style springs, one on each liner, give the locking bar -due to its inertia -to secure the blade in the open position.
